I'm quite fond of the jacket's finish. The leather is soft but not fragile, and the jacket has a substantial weight to it that feels just right. I bought it for motorcycle rides during the spring and fall seasons, and it does an excellent job of blocking out the wind. I haven't encountered any rain showers yet, so I can't provide feedback on its performance in wet conditions.
